Chocolate Chip Scones

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1⅓ cup cold whipping cream
  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  2. Measure and combine all dry ingredients, including chocolate chips in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix for a few seconds to combine well.
  4. Slowly pour in cold whipping cream and stir until just combined.
  5. Do not over stir.
  6. Pour scone dough out onto a lightly floured surface and press into a 10" round circle.
  7. Use a pizza cutter to cut dough into 8 trianges.
  8. Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet . Leave space between each scone.
  9. Bake for 13-15 minutes.
