Ingredients
  • Two 1.5 lb. (each) pork tenderloins
  • Marinade Ingredients:
  • ⅓ cup brown sugar or honey
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup rice wine vinegar
  • 1 T. ginger paste (or finely minced fresh ginger)
  • 1 T. Dijon mustard
  • 1 T. dried minced onion
  • 1 tsp. oyster sauce
  • 1 tsp. Chinese 5 Spice Powder
  • 1 tsp. ground black pepper
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
Instructions
  1. To prepare the marinade, gather all ingredients, measure and mix them in a 9x13" glass baking dish.
  2. Reserve ⅓ cup of marinade and set aside (this will be used later for a sauce)
  3. Remove pork tenderloins from package and rinse under cold water.
  4. Place both tenderloins in the baking dish, turn to coat well with marinade.
  5. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
  6. Remove from fridge and allow to sit at room temperature for 30 minutes.
  7. Pre-heat gas grill to medium heat.
  8. Choose to either grill both or just one tenderloin. Freeze the non-grilled tenderloin in a gallon freezer bag with a bit of the marinade.
  9. Grill for approximately 25 minutes, turning once.
  10. Stick a meat thermometer into the thickest part and remove pork from grill when its internal temperature reaches 145.
  11. Allow the pork to sit and rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  12. Heat the reserved marinade and drizzle over the top of the sliced pork.
  13. Serve over rice and accompany with steamed snow peas.
  14. One tenderloin serves 6, two tenderloins will serve 12.
  15. Enjoy!
