The day has arrived! Winter is right around the corner. We have frost on the ground, the days are growing shorter and the hustle and bustle of the holiday season is in full gear! I know you have been busily preparing also and today you get to show off those holiday projects, crafts, décor, and recipes!  I’m happy to be here with you and kick off week one of the Countdown to Winter Party!

countdown to winter 500

I’ve been dressing the outside of the house with lights and tweaking the front porch to make it merry and bright! I couldn’t resist making a Christmas version of my “Fall Wreath”. I’m telling you, this wreath is so crazy easy to make! We all love easy, right? Well be sure to check in tomorrow for the Joy Wreath Tutorial, ok?

For now, take a peek at my Joy-ful porch and GET THE PARTY STARTED!

Thanks so much Kim for hosting this party! We love cardinals too – also have a family of them living in our backyard! (I wonder if your cardinals will think the “faux” cardinals are possibly their relatives… LOL Your front entrance looks very festive and welcoming!

Haha! Laura, I was wondering the same thing! I’ll be tickled if they land on the porch to check them out! They really like my backyard the best. They are so beautiful to watch, especially how the male sticks so close to his mate. 😉 Thanks for joining the party!
