I love dressing up a holiday table with beautiful napkin rings, but I do not like paying retail prices for anything! Surely we can make our own, right? Well I did and these are so easy to make it’s ridiculous. If you have some ribbon, hot glue and a few jingle bells from the dollar store then darlin’ you are good to go! Let’s get making these happy holiday Jingle Bell Napkin Rings!

Jingle Bell Napkin Rings

To make your DIY Napkin Rings you will need the following:

  • Wide wired ribbon of your choice
  • Coordinating thin ribbons (I used 2 different thin ribbons)
  • Hot glue
  • Jingle Bells (available at dollar stores)

Step 1: Cut the wide wired ribbon into 7” lengths. Cut as many as you need. I cut 6 strips of ribbon. (Don’t you love my rockin’ dinosaur ruler Winking smile? Yep, I’m a mom…)

Step 2: Fold your wired ribbon in half. Fold and hot glue a seam at each end.

Step 3: Cut the thin ribbon to 6.5 inches and thread through the jingle bells.

Step 4: Place 3 dots of hot glue (in the center and at each end of the folded ribbon) and lay the thin ribbon with jingle bell on top.

Step 5:  Hot glue the ends together and voila! You’ve got festive Holiday Jingle Bell Napkin Rings!

I already had the ribbon on hand and the jingle bells only cost $1 for a pack of 9. So these are so inexpensive and easy to make it’s silly! I don’t think I’ll ever purchase napkin rings again. I’m going for a silver & gold theme this year and it’s so beautiful!

Pin it if you love it!

GREAT idea, Kim! Sweet and simple… like your style! Just amazed that your hot glue gun doesn’t looked a gluey and crappy like mine?? Especially with all the use it gets! Any secrets you’d care to spill? 😉

I just realized that I had repinned these last night from someone, not noticing that they were yours, but just because they’re so cute and I want to make some. I love a good cheap craft that has such a big impact!
