Looking at me upon first glance, I’m pretty sure the words Duck® Brand don’t come immediately to mind. Am I right? Whenever I heard the words Duck Tape®, my thoughts would wander to images of my father fixing everything under the sun with his trusty duct tape.
What is it with men and duct tape anyhow? It’s like southerners and sweet tea… we just can’t get enough!
Well, when the sweet folks at Duck Tape® offered me their entire holiday line to sample and challenged me to create something with it, I admit, I was at first a bit hesitant. But holy-schmolly… have you all seen Duck® Tape lately?
Baby it’s not your daddy’s Duck Tape® anymore! They have fun and festive prints and holiday designs. No wonder everyone loves it so much!
I must be living under a rock! My kids seem to think so.
I had no idea Duck Tape® Crafts were so insanely popular right now! My teen daughters were ecstatic when the box of Holiday Duck Tape arrived! I took on the challenge and had a blast! Today I’ll show you how to make a few Holiday Duck Tape® Crafts. These crafts are super fast and easy to do!
I like to keep tin containers from coffee or cookie cans that I, ummm I mean, my kids gobbled up. (By the way, those cookies are so delish dipped in your coffee…. just sayin’).
In just a few minutes you can easily recover that cookie/coffee tin with stripes of red and candy candy Duck Tape®, fill it with potting soil and a beautiful poinsettia to create a festive holiday centerpiece.
I have a ton of inexpensive, solid colored gift bags. A great idea is to dress them up with Duck Tape®.
In less than 2 minutes I was able to quickly adorn a simple gift bag and transform it into a pretty Christmas gift bag! Twist a sprig of wired berries around the handle and you are good to go!
For New Year’s Eve, in addition to your spirits, be sure to offer all your guests enough water and non-alcoholic drinks. Bling out water bottles with gold and super shiny silver metallic Duck Tape®. I wrapped each bottle with a band of metallic tape and the layered it with either a sparkly snowflake sticker or folded an alternating metallic strip of tape in half.
Use Duck Tape® as you would for ribbon. Dress up presents, cards, bows, or anything your imagination can come up with. The possibilities are endless. Have you made anything out of Duck® Brand tape?
