Pomegranate Prosecco

Christmas/New Years· Recipes

It’s Holiday Cocktail Party time! A simple and refreshing drink to make for your guests is Pomegranate Prosecco. This recipe is adapted from a Coastal Living drink recipe. The beautiful ruby red color and sparkling bubbles are perfect for the holidays. This drink is not too sweet but light and delicious. Prosecco is an Italian sparkling wine, quite similar to champagne. I’ll show you a non-alcoholic version too today.

Pomegranate Prosecco

Pomegranate Prosecco

2 bottles of Prosecco

1 cup of Pomegranate Liqueur

Garnish- pomegranate seeds

Pour 2 tablespoons of the Pomegranate Liqueur into each champagne flute, then fill glasses 3/4 full of Prosecco, and garnish with several pomegranate seeds.  You will be entertained as you watch the jewel like pomegrante seeds float up and down the glass flutes. This recipe serves 8.

A good hostess always has festive non-alcoholic choices on hand for guests and children. You can make a non-alcoholic version of this drink which is just as delicious, called a Pomegranate Spritzer. Fill each glass with 1/4 pomegranate juice (use 100% pomegrante juice instead of one made from concentrate) and fill with 7-up or ginger ale and be sure to garnish with the seeds also. My kids love their version!
