Valentine Pretzel Bites

Recipes· Valentines

Valentine’s Day is less than a month away and I thought I’d make some sweet treats for my little sweethearts. Don’t you find the combination of salty and sweet deliciously addicting? I do! Today I want to show you a super easy Valentine Pretzel Bites in adorable paper treat cones.  Three ingredients is all it takes!

Valentine Pretzel Bites - by Sand & Sisal

To make Valentine Pretzel Bites you will need the following:

  • Mini Pretzels
  • Dipping Chocolate (I used Ghirardelli Candy Making & Dipping Bar)
  • Valentine Sprinkles
  • Quart sized freezer bag, scissors, wax paper

Step 1: Break up your chocolate dipping bar into pieces.

Step 2: Place a piece into a quart sized freezer bag. Be sure to use a freezer bag because they are stronger.

Step 3: Place bag with chocolate in the microwave and melt on high at 30 second intervals. Massage the bag well after each 30 second interval. Continue until completely melted.

Step 4: Place pretzels on a sheet of wax paper.

Step 5: With scissors, snip off a 1/4 inch off the corner of the bag. You now have a piping bag.

Step 6: Pipe the chocolate onto the pretzels forming a heart shape.

Step 7: While the chocolate is still wet, decorate with your Valentine sprinkles.

All the Valentine Pretzel Bites to set up around 10 minutes and store in a tight container until ready to serve. I like to fill a paper treat cone with some tissue paper and fill it with the Valentine Pretzel Bites. Click here to learn how to make easy paper treat cones.
