Needing Counsel on Consoles

This has been a crazy week. I’ve bee re-decorating my home for Christmas. Yes, I said Christmas. I know it’s March and the daffodils are in full bloom here, but my I’m ready to pour some hot chocolate and sing a few carols! No, I’m totally kidding. I had a project due this week for a company that required it in a Christmas setting. I now get the chore of taking it all down again and dragging it up to the attic. So to reward my self, I’m going to venture out to my favorite thrift stores for a little shopping.

I’m in search of console tables. I actually am in need of two and hoping to find a bargain or one I could makeover. These tables below really caught my eye. Each is so unique and makes a big design statement.

Have you ever seen a rope covered table before? I sure haven’t . It looks amazing doesn’t it? What texture!

Which is your favorite?

I’m off to shop now! Have a great Friday!

Love #1. I’m a sucker for the distressed beach look. Plus, it’s a unique table shape! #2 is a close second. The color is great!

Well here is my two cents……I like the style of #1 but the color of #2. I have a console table with stain glass inserts I would love to paint the rest of it in a different color but I think my hubs would take issue with it 🙁 so it stays. Have fun shopping!

I think #1 is fabulous and my favorit…but #3 would make an amazing DIY project!

Love #2 because of the color. I think my cat would have a wild time with #3. Her scratching post is wrapped in rope 🙂

    Hi there!

I came across your blog today while searching on Pinterest for decorating ideas using seaglass and was surprised to see that you are in Hampton Roads! I’m also in the area (Chesapeake) and am excited to see a local! 🙂 I love thrift stores and am always looking for good ones, would you mind sharing some of your favorites?

    Thanks!
