I’m so pleased to have Heather from Setting for Four here for today’s Feature Friday! Please give her a fabulous welcome. Hello Sand and Sisal readers! Today I have a Holiday DIY to share with you – these were so much fun to make, I hope you’ll make some too!

I love to create inviting tablescapes for the holidays. Adding beautiful napkins with decorative napkin rings to the table is a fabulous way to make your family and guests feel special!

This Christmas I’m decorating with a blue color palette, so when I saw these sparkly beads and mother of pearl shell beads I knew they would be perfect for my holiday table!

I whipped up these gorgeous Beaded Shell Napkin Rings in no time at all!

Supplies for DIY Jewel and Shell Napkin Ring

Memory wire

Wire head pins

Small Silver Beads

Shell beads

Jewel beads

Needle nose pliers

Create a beaded charm:

Add one small bead and one jewel bead to a wire head pin.

   Make a Beaded Charm

Create a loop in the wire to secure the beads.

DIY Beaded Charm

Create the napkin ring:

Cut the wire 7 inches.

Create a loop at the end of the wire, with the pliers, to hold the beads on.

Create a loop at end of wire

String the small beads and the shell beads in any pattern you like. I love the shape of these shell beads and the mother of pearl color!

 String beads and shells

Add the beaded charm last.

Create a loop in the wire. Don’t completely close this loop!

Hook both loops into each other to create a closed circle.

(Make sure both loops are completely closed to secure all the beads)

Now you have a gorgeous handmade beaded napkin ring!

I’m.in.love.
