The Opryland Hotel & Conference Center in Nashville, TN hosted Blissdom 2011 this past week.

Approximately 650 women and men gathered to connect, learn, share, network, and celebrate blogging.

The creative energy oozing from these bloggers felt like an electric current powering Opryland!

Bloggers form many online friendships from being each other’s subscribers, through Twitter, and Facebook.

We all know these women from their writing, but to meet them in person was like reuniting with old friends, simply wonderful!

Jockey, one of Blissdom’s incredibly generous sponsors, hosted a Red Carpet event, “Light the Fuse” party.

We walked the red carpet in our stilettos, and took questions from film crews and paparazzi at the Opryland’s Club Fuse!

Jockey sure knew how to make a girl feel special!

Mat Kearney and Michelle Branch performed for the Blissdom crowd.

The Gaylord Hotel fully delivered on the “Wow Factor”. It is simply the most gorgeous and largest hotel I have ever seen.

Allow me to show you some pictures I took between conference sessions.

Did I find bliss at Blissdom? You bet!

My brain hurts a bit from the massive amounts of information it has taken in these past few days,

but I look forward to applying what I’ve learned so that I can bring a better blog to you!

Sounds like so much fun! My husband and I walked through the Opryland hotel when we were visiting Nashville 3-4 years ago…it is beautiful! I am so glad that they were able to recover from the horrible floods! Thanks for sharing your pics from Blissdom!

What beautiful photos. I wish I’d taken the time to get more shots at the hotel and next time I’m going to (not be lazy) and bring my good camera. Love the scenery pics.

It was good meeting you. Sam place next year? 🙂

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I totally wish I had an atrium like that near me. The photos of the flowers are gorgeous!

I was there and did not get any shots of the beautiful Delta gardens. How wrong is that? Between sessions and the baby needing a break from the hustle, I didn’t have the brain power to remember.
    You captured it wonderfully!
